The firmware source - download the gpl1010.tgz - untar this - cd v1010/Software/firmware/uClinux/kernel and do a "make dep" - cd to v1010/Software/firmware/apfw and do a make image - No error? then there is a recent apfirmware.img in the apfw dir.
